Here is a self-care ritual to de-stress and pamper, it’s a whole body self-care experience you will glow from top to toe!
Sometimes what seems like an almost too simple and easy way to care for ourselves is overlooked. To care for your skin is a daily practice that you will see the benefits for your entire life. What is the first step to take?
It’s simple: Exfoliate and nourish your skin from top to toe.
Step one: Choose the right products. How we exfoliate, our face is different from our lips, body and feet. Here are a few tips on using the right products and techniques. Think of this ritual as a spring clean for your skin. Scrub off your old cells to allow younger more vibrant cells to surface.
Step two: The right order. First, the face, then the whole body and finish with your feet.
Step 3. Nourish and moisturise.
NB* If you have sensitive, broken skin, pregnant or have health issues. Please consult your Doctor before using any new products or using dry brushing. If you have a reaction stop the brushing.

Your home day spa plan to make a morning ritural:
Set aside 20-30 minutes for a special relaxed self-care experience or shorten a few minutes to include in a morning routine.
After a shower or bath dry your skin. If you have a terry towelling bathrobe, this is the perfect time to indulge yourself.
Start with exfoliating your face. If your face is slightly damp from the shower use a small amount of Micro-Dermabrasion Paste™ and massage your face 30-60 seconds. You can add a little water to lessen the intensity of the exfoliation if you prefer. Rinse off and pat dry.
Apply your Active Hydration Serum™ and smooth over your face. You can use your regimens correct for your skin type.
Next is dry brushing your body:
Using your Japanese dry brush. Start from the feet, and legs up from the left to the right of the body. Stoke upwards in one motion. Repeat about seven times per area of the body with gentle pressure to your comfort level.
Moisturise with Rodan+Fields Daily Moisturiser™. Starting with the feet and working up your body again from left to right.
“My personal tip: When I first started dry brushing I was a bit alarmed at the redness of my skin. But, I felt invigorated and scrubbed clean. I prefer exfoliating and then having a shower ending with refreshingly cool water. Then wrapping myself in robe and applying my Active Hydration and Daily Body Moisturiser as the last step.”
Now its time to take a little quiet time and move on with the day in a state of flow.
I know for some it’s a challenge if you have a busy family household. The best way to overcome this is to make an early start to the day before the children rise!
Create a great way to start to morning ritual a few times a week. Alternate with yoga or meditation. Taking time to care for yourself is a way to balance over thinking, self-doubt and overwhelm.
When you care for yourself, you empower yourself. By filling your cup before you start taking care of others and business.
